The promised sleet held off, and we witnessed a technicolour tapestry of Christmas jumpers this week where 341 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 24 were first timers and 44 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 35 different clubs took part.
We also celebrated a plethora of wonderful parkrun milestones, congratulations to:
v25 Club – Queen of the Scanners, Joanna Evans
50th parkrun – the Boss, Andy Nice
100th parkrun – the Dazzling Duo, Lesley Keddy and Sarah Ockendon (thanks too for the celebratory cake.)
While the Christmas Jumper competition was of a very high standard, there had to be one winner and congratulations go to Martyn Maynard who sported a very festive jumper. See him in action below...
First home was James Laing at 16:39 and our first female was Phillipa Lowe at 18:39. Well done to both of them.

The male record is held by Unknown ATHLETE who recorded a time of 15:49 on 15th December 2018 (event number 93).
The Age Grade course record is held by Sharon KASSEMZADEH who recorded 91.84% (22:04) on 4th August 2018 (event number 74).
Rickmansworth parkrun started on 4th March 2017. Since then 6,027 participants have completed 31,230 parkruns covering a total distance of 156,150 km, including 7,276 new Personal Bests. A total of 446 individuals have volunteered 1,993 times.
