Christmas and New Year offerings from Riverside parkrun

In 2019 we have decided that our festive programme looks like this;

Saturday 21st December, we will be having our Christmas event - dressing up allowed, encouraged, cake etc

Wednesday 25th December, there will not be a parkrun held at Riverside park, if you still want a parkrun on Christmas Day  have a look at other local events who may be staging an extra run (have a look at Gateshead, Herrington etc )

Saturday 28th December, there will be parkrun as usual at Riverside park.

Wednesday 1st January, there will be an extra special bonus parkrun starting at 9am (if we get enough volunteers . Our Run Directors Jeff & Mark have stepped forward to be your hosts). We know that other parkrun have chosen to start at 10:30 on this day, so for all of you able, willing and have transport you actually get a chance to do two parkruns in one day - The only day of the year this is allowed. Usually a cracking morning.

Saturday 4th January, there will be a parkrun as usual at Riverside park.

(Too early I know ) Merry Christmas & Happy New Year parkrunners, joggers, walkers and volunteers.
