A stand in reporter this week, with no photos I’m afraid.
We had a volunteer takeover by Leeds Cares
https://leeds-cares.org/ the official charity partner of Leeds hospitals (with Jan Rush stepping in to be RD). You might have spotted the purple banners around the course. They also provided mince pies for the finishers – always welcome. The weather was kind to us too so we had a great start to the weekend.
This week 336 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 27 were first timers and 49 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 20 different clubs took part.
Sean Fitzgerald ran his 251st parkrun this morning. Why 251 you might ask – it was because he ran his 250th last week and was too modest to get a shout out, but we found you out. Congratulations, Sean!
Paul Common and Kate Wilson both ran their 50th today. Well done to you. We look forward to seeing you again wearing the red shirts.
See you next Saturday.
