Autumn at RTW parkrun

(Updated 16th October 2016) Autumn is certainly making its presence felt with leaves beginning to fall and the evenings drawing in.

Despite this, we continue to bring you a free, timed, 5km event at 9am each Saturday and with an average weekly attendance of 192 runners so far this Autumn what better place to be?!

Here are some of the special events taking place over the coming weeks:

29th October - Halloween parkrun. Join us by wearing orange and black or why not go all out and dress as a vampire, werewolf or witch?! Whichever you choose make sure you run fast as our spooky tail runner will be close behind. Sweets and treats on offer at the finish, that is, if you finish...

5th November - "Remember, remember, the 5th of November, the gunpowder treason and plot; I see of no reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot." What better way to celebrate the 411th anniversary of the gunpowder plot than with another of our pacer days!? If you would like to volunteer as a pacer for this event then simply email - we are looking for runners to pace times from 35 minutes up to 25 minutes (no previous pacing experience necessary).

12th November - Social evening. Join our regular volunteers and runners for an orange juice or two from 8pm at The Compasses, which is located on Little Mt Sion.
