Run report 14/3/20

Today I was absolutely amazed by the valiant attempts of all who ran/jogged/walked parkrun this Saturday ,the 14th of March. Inspire of the previous week’s abysmal weather and poor conditions, we were met by rays of spring sunshine breaking through the dense remains of the winter’s clouds.
I thought that the run was a great reflection of Farnborough and Aldershot’s community , with all on coming fears we still had a great turn out of 370 participants. However, it was all because of our 27 great volunteers that the event still went ahead smoothly.
Additionally, we had 31 out of the 370 park runners who hadn’t been at Rushmoor before and the 8 who hadn’t run a parkrun before. I hope that those new to Rushmoor and new to parkrun all felt very welcome to Rushmoor.
We also had 27 park runners achieving their new PB’s today.
Which is well deserving of a congratulation for pushing themselves to their limits and striving to improve themselves.
I know that this report isn’t what most expect or of the higher standard but I hope you enjoyed the small conclusion of just another incredible week of Rushmoor. Also congratulations to all others who achieved a mile stone today, whether it was your 10th , 25th ,50th parkrun or higher , I hope that you feel rightly proud of you achievements.
