7th Anniversary run (number 361) – 2nd November 2019

This week 139 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 18 were first timers and 13 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 24 different clubs took part.

Congratulations to Jonathan Phillips and Grace Reynolds on their 50th runs! Grace also achieved a PB! Many congratulations to Malcolm Ball who completed his 250th run and to Chris Chorley who completed his 300th!

Our 7th anniversary was celebrated afterwards in the Courtyard cafe and the annual presentation of awards took place. Awards for the most improved runner were awarded to Pete Skivington (adult male), Lynn Tyler (adult female), Issac Skivington (junior male) and Marsha Shawyer (junior female). The Volunteer of the Year award was won by Jeremy Bolam and parkrunner of the Year by Adrian Dyde. Very well done to all of them!
