This week 165 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 29 were first timers. In addition 14 runners recorded new Personal Bests, three of which were achieved by the first three runners, Henry Jonas, a regular Sheringham park runner, Dan Widdowson of Colchester Harriers AC and Joe Middleton. Henry broke the boys JM 11-14 record for the course in a time of 17.52. Isla Widdowson, a first timer, broke the girls JW 10 course record in a time of 22.58. Cleary a good day for records despite Storm Dennis.
In addition a special congratulations goes to Stuart Swanson on achieving his 250th parkrun, 218 of which have been run at Sheringham. Well done Stuart.
As usual a special thanks goes to our merry band of volunteers Clive Hedges, Karl Harper, Gary Linder, John Rumsby, Claire Scott, Derek Sadler, Sandra Wilkinson, Alistair Wilkinson, Phil Houghton, Karen Bell, Susan Ilsley, Jeremy Bolam, Haley Griggs, Nancy Crow, without whom we could not run the event.
