Sheringham parkrun is cancelled on 8 August 2020: COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Sheringham parkrun Event number 374 1st February 2020

This week 157 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 26 were first timers and 18 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 14 different clubs took part.

Congratulations goes to Jez Hull on reaching his 200th parkrun, 177 of which have been at Sheringham parkrun.

Also congratulations to two of our parkrun visitors Amy Roberts, a first timer at Sheringham, who ran her 100th parkrun, and David Hibbert on reaching his 50th milestone.

As usual a special thanks goes to Richard West todays Run Director and his band of 14 volunteers, Karl Read, Karl Harper, Gary Linder, Sal Ryder, Sally Davenport, Alex Robinson, Kirsty Hobart, Janet Acott, Claire Scott, Mark Holroyd, Jeremy Bolam, Stephen Higgs, Keith Beswick and Chris Bean who made the event possible.

Sheringham parkrun – event 373 25th January 2020

This week 181 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 30 were first timers and 28 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 25 different clubs took part.

A special congratulations goes to Chris Gibbons on completing his 300th parkrun, 268 of which have been at Sheringham. Also congratulations go to Samantha Henry on reaching her 50th milestone.

Sheringham parkrun Event number 372 18th January 2020

This week 181 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 17 were first timers and 29 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 19 different clubs took part.

Special congratulations goes to visually impaired runner Chris Waller who achieved a new P.B of 26.08. A special thanks to Adrian Dyde, Chris’s guide runner. Congratulations also goes to Pippa Slough on achieving a milestone of 50 parkruns. It was also great to see Claire Foulkes return to Sheringham parkrun after her nasty fall a few weeks ago.

Sheringham parkrun Event number 370 4th January 2020

This week 184 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 24 were first timers and 23 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 17 different clubs took part.

Congratulations to Kev Pitcher who ran his 50th parkrun today in a time of 36.01. Kev dedicated today's run to his son Benny who has cancer of the brain stem. On 19th April Kev together with a group of very special people made up of friends and members of the North Norfolk Beach Runners will run the Brighton marathon in order to raise money for the East Anglia's Children’s Hospice (EACH), the Cromer Children’s Charity and to adapt the Pitcher's home to make it easier to look after Benny.
