Running is Magic!

newyear

It's still October... and already you can smell the Christmas candles in the shops and you are getting bombarded by TV ads to buys your presents before it's too late.  So let's look even further ahead, New Year's Day 2015

We have agreed with Panshanger parkrun to have a joint effort where parkrunners can do two parkruns on the same day. Panshanger parkrun will have their event at the normal time of 0900 Hours.  This will give those who like a challenge on New Year's day the opportunity to go to St Albans parkrun which will start at 10.30 to run that also.

More to come.

Nov 2nd – offroad course in use

On November 2nd we will be using the offroad course as the council will be setting up the firework display by the lake. Depending on weather conditions off-road shoes may be advisable.

Offroad route now being used

Hi all, with the snow and ice arriving we'll be using the alternative route for the forseeable future. The start is in the same place and the finish quite close too, the course is completely off-road, slightly longer than 5K and has a bit of an incline so you'll get a great workout! Off road shoes are advisable although in the frost normal trainers will probably suffice.

Xmas plans

Hi everyone, just to let you know we're holding events right through the Xmas period come rain, shine or snow.

22nd December is a "Santa" themed run so please get your fancy dress on! We have a great off-road route in case of snow & ice. Hope to see you there!

Best,

Doug
