It was a chilly start to Saturday's run and it caught some of the volunteers unaware, who realised too late that a couple of extra layers would have been good! Despite the cold start and it being a bank holiday weekend, we still had 337 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 37 were first timers and 67 recorded new Personal Bests. In the last year, our average attendance has increased by 100 runners a week, a remarkable number and testimony to the impact of parkrun.
The event was made possible by 21 fantastic volunteers. They are:
Phil DEAVES • Michael FLETCHER • Angus KINDLEY • Elizabeth JORDAN • Tichaonezvi J. RUREDZO • Anne MILLER • Chris LEIGH • Russ ANDREWS • Nicola HATHERLY • Tracy NORRIS • Helen HARRIS • Joe COLGAN • Richard GLAISTER • Nathan HADFIELD • Peter ROBERTS • Victoria HADFIELD • Alan FORD • Alan GOODWIN • Hazel JONES • Juliette MULLEN • Ian MCCLEMENTS
The results can be found on our parkrun website. We did have a few issues with the results this week, so please remember not to cross the line twice and run the full course before crossing the finish line. It makes it so much easier for us!
