#Parkrun 171 run report
Another great turn out at the weekend for our 171st run at Fairlands it’s fair to say we were impressed by the turn out especially as it was Stevenage 10k the following day, maybe some of the runners used it to loosen off the legs or maybe it was just the pull of the weather and the fact that the park was looking great it all its glory before the autumn really kicks in, either way it all made for another cracking parkrun. A special thanks go to the finish team who made timing, scanning and funnel managing look easy and breezed through the 400 finishers even with a few funnel duckers and with multiple finishers crossing the line together, great job.
Anyone wishing to volunteer please get in touch all jobs are very easy and some basic instruction will be provided, everyone who does nearly always states they will do it again it’s fun giving back to your parkrun and we love to see returning volunteers build up their experience and maybe one day will take over some core jobs. If you want to give it a try email to:- Stevenage@parkrun.com or check out the roster for any roles which need to be filled at:- https://www.parkrun.org.uk/stevenage/futureroster/
