Stewart parkrun, Middlesbrough
Event number 370
7th September 2019
Hi everyone. Another great morning at Stewart Park. It certainly felt Autumnal so an even bigger thank you to the Marshals this week - especially those who were standing in the shade. A special shout out for the Sunday Lovelies - a bunch of ever diminishing ladies who volunteer on mass once a month. You're all awesome.
We had plenty of First Timers this morning including Joe SHUTT (Brother of Stewart parkrun regular Catherine). We also had visitors from Tees Barrage, Cambridge, Ashford and Shipley. We also had some serious parkrun tourists from Roundhay in Leeds. Nice to meet you all and we hope you enjoyed our event.
We also celebrated some unofficial milestones with Nico MOUISSIE completing his 200th run and Nicola PEARSON smashing run number 400. Amazing achievements. It was also lovely to see Emma FERGUSON celebrating her fundraising achievement of raising £475 for Running Down Dementia. A great achievement for an amazing cause. Also good luck to Emma's Sister-in-Law
Kayleigh from Manchester who will be completing a half marathon soon. Boosh!!
Ruth is at the helm next week so please let her know if you are able to help out. Good luck to all our runners doing events over the weekend. There is lots happening including the Great Tees 10K and of course the GNR. The very best of luck to everyone and please come back to Stewart parkrun fit and healthy next week.
