Event report #236 – 29th February 2020

The blue sky was amazing this morning and so were you, 250 runners/walkers and 18 volunteers.

aThe history was made and the very first Leap Day parkrun completed. Next parkrun on 29th February will take place in 28 years!

We luckly escaped storm Jorge and the sun stayed with us to the very end. However it was on the cold side. The wind was not too kind for runners while volunteers noticed their fingers were a bit stiff from the cold. Tough task to hand out tokens or to keep pressing stopwatch buttons, brrr.

Congratulations on the milestones to :
- Erina Barber 100
- Joy Duffield 50.
