Another Wet and Windy Event #199

Event number 199, October 26th 2019

This week 218 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 27 were first timers and 44 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 29 different clubs took part.

Putting all of your effort back to back in a Relay, would get us to Dunbeath, outside John O'Groats.

The female record is held by Elinor KIRK who recorded a time of 16:33 on 20th April 2019 (event number 174).
The Age Grade course record is held by Val NAYLOR who recorded 100.55% (24:07) on 20th October 2018 (event number 147).

Swansea Bay parkrun started on 24th October 2015. Since then 10,728 participants have completed 54,678 parkruns covering a total distance of 273,390 km, including 10,929 new Personal Bests. A total of 611 individuals have volunteered 4,264 times.

22nd June 2019

This week 355 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 64 were first timers and 69 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 40 different clubs took part.

Swansea Bay parkrun started on 24th October 2015. Since then 9,640 participants have completed 48,776 parkruns covering a total distance of 243,880 km, including 9,995 new Personal Bests. A total of 564 individuals have volunteered 3,836 times.

This equates to 174 times around the Welsh Coastal Path, or 63% of the way to the Moon.
