Swansea Bay parkrun is cancelled on 4 April 2020: COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Event 212 18th January 2020

This week 523 people ran, jogged and walked the icy course, of whom 71 were first timers and 53 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 37 different clubs took part.

The female record is held by Elinor KIRK who recorded a time of 16:33 on 20th April 2019 (event number 174).
The Age Grade course record is held by Val NAYLOR who recorded 100.55% (24:07) on 20th October 2018 (event number 147).

Swansea Bay parkrun started on 24th October 2015. Since then 11,307 participants have completed 59,004 parkruns covering a total distance of 295,020 km, including 11,500 new Personal Bests. A total of 628 individuals have volunteered 4,558 times.

Swansea Bay parkrun started on 24th October 2015. Since then 10,924 participants have completed 56,416 parkruns covering a total distance of 282,080 km, the same as circumnavigating the world 7 times, then crossing the continental US from New York to Las Vegas, including 11,192 new Personal Bests. A total of 621 individuals have volunteered 4,419 times.

This week 218 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 27 were first timers and 44 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 29 different clubs took part.

Putting all of your effort back to back in a Relay, would get us to Dunbeath, outside John O'Groats.
