Saturday saw Tonbridge parkrun hosting the launch event for NHS70 - an event marking 70 years of the NHS and Tonbridge were honoured to have been chosen as the launch event for parkrun in the UK.
We were so happy that 642 joined us for the event - running, jogging and walking the course and an amazing 84 people running for the first time and 67 people achieved a new Personal Best.
An array of NHS workers joined in the fun for our 5k route - and we were thrilled that Dame Kelly Holmes joined in the fun and started our run.
Everyone looked fabulous in their NHS clothes - theatre staff, ambulance crews, nurses, doctors and even a hospital chaplain - thank you all for helping us to celebrate 70 years of the NHS.
On behalf of all of the runners at Tonbridge parkrun we would like to thank the NHS for 70 years of 'having our back'

We hope you will come back next week and enjoy another run and be on your way to that exclusive milestone shirt - remember juniors need to run 10 times and adults need to run 50 times to claim their free milestone shirt.
Speaking of milestones, congratulations to the following who achieved their milestones today:
A massive thank you to each and every one of our wonderful volunteers - from the pre-event set-up team, bar-code scanners, token sorters, time-keepers, funnel managers, marshals, pacers and tail walkers - you are all fabulous - for supporting, cheering, encouraging all our parkrunners, and staying right until the end to clap and cheer and support everyone to the finish line.
As ever we are always need volunteers, if you have run 10 time or more since the last time you helped please consider dropping Laura an email and letting her know when you might like to help out over the next few weeks.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org and Laura will let you know what we would like you to do. Remember every time you volunteer, you will be closer to your milestone T-Shirt.
