Thank you to Sam Noakes for helping with the Run Report! Sam ran at Upton Court for the first time this week and was in the leading pack, we hope to see you again!
This week 198 people ran, jogged and walked the sunny course, of whom 31 were first timers on this course, 4 were first timers to parkrun and 21 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 23 different clubs took part, from as far away as Singapore!
There was some impressive age graded scores with many over 70% and a few breaking 80%! One of the 80%ers was Charlotte FIELD, who led the way comfortably to finish first with a new PB and achieved the 4th fastest female finisher time on this course, ever – well done!
The event was made possible by 14 volunteers:
Alison BROWNHILL • Bob HARDMAN • Clare REGALE-DAY • David RAYNOR • David SANDERS • Duncan GIBSON • Erin OLIVER • Ja HANSRA • Jonathan DAVIES • Lisa EUDEN • Louise FLISHER • Mark OLNEY • Sam NOAKES • Stuart MONTGOMERY
Note that this coming Saturday, 24th August, the rugby club is closed for an event. However Joanne will open the fire exit doors for access to the toilets. Food and drink will be served from the verandah. A sunny Saturday is forecast so you can all still stay and enjoy breakfast with your fellow running friends.
Big congratulations to everyone that took part and we hope to see you next week!
Alison and Sam
