A big thank you to the volunteers who came out again on a winter’s morning to make sure the parkrun happens. We know that most people like to run but if you would like to volunteer and still run there are roles that you could help out with.......

Turn up early and help with the pre-run setup, check the course for example

Carry out the new runner briefing, be a pacer, be a tail runner

Stay behind to tidy up after the run or...

volunteer from the comfort of your own sofa by writing the run report (just send an email to and we will send you most of what goes into the report, you just need to put your own views and thoughts about the run and email it back to us

But if the J McAlister who ran at the valley sends a message to us then I will update the records. Sorry for all this messing about
