Wetherby parkrun Event number 197 on 20th July 2019

How lucky were we this Saturday to have such wonderful weather? We were blessed to have Elizabeth's (one of our run directors) daughter Emily volunteer with us and true to form Elizabeth managed her parental duties by embarrassing Emily. Well done both of you for coming this week.

We had visitors for near and far to include Scotton near Knaresborough, Harrogate, York, Scunthorpe and Cannock Chase in Staffordshire. Thank you for choosing Wetherby as we know you have many other parkruns in the area to choose from.

We had Sharon Smith celebrating her 200th parkrun which is an amazing achievement. Wouldn't it have been fabulous if we could have shared her celebration with our 200th parkrun as well? We are 3 weeks away from our 200th and I asked you on Saturday to have a think about what we should do to celebrate. If you have any ideas feel free to email us.
