Wow, it was our birthday and although we didn't do much on the fancy dress front, we certainly worked hard on eating cake and cracking PBs - 74 of you smashed your previous record! It may have had something to do with the pacers, or possibly the promise of cake but either way - 17% of you with a PB; I'm just secretly rather jealous. Mind you, I think the cake eating record was 7!
35 of you joined us for the first time - hello and welcome; we don't always have that much cake! However, out of those 35, 18 of you completed your first ever parkrun. Thanks for making Wimpole your first and we look forward to welcoming you back next week!
We had 39 volunteers this week - higher than usual due to pacers, but thank you to each and every one of you. We've given you a deliberate break from parkrun Bingo over the last month or so ... but as Arnie would say "it will be back!"
Today's full results and a complete event history can be found on the Wimpole Estate parkrun Results Page.
