Another lovely late September morning saw slightly fewer runners and walkers than usual join us at Wolverhampton parkrun on 25 September.

Congratulations to the newest members of the 10 club - Tanvi RANDHAWA, the 50 club – Lara LANGSTON and the 100 club - Jeff OAKLEY, Rose EDWARDS and Tom SLAWINSKI. Also thank you to Steve RAYNER who has now reached the milestone of 25 volunteering credits!
Looking ahead, good luck to a number of our regular parkrunners who are taking part in the London marathon next weekend!
This week 260 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 23 were first timers and 34 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 24 different clubs took part.

The male record is held by Phil NICHOLLS who recorded a time of 14:42 on 8th June 2013 (event number 18).
The female record is held by Hayley CARRUTHERS who recorded a time of 16:32 on 1st December 2018 (event number 297).
The Age Grade course record is held by Fred JONES who recorded 91.07% (16:48) on 4th September 2021 (event number 372).
Wolverhampton parkrun started on 2nd February 2013. Since then 11,517 participants have completed 92,924 parkruns covering a total distance of 464,620 km, including 17,090 new Personal Bests. A total of 1,219 individuals have volunteered 6,982 times.
