Record breaker for Debbie on her 200th – run report 628, 17 August 2019

Well done to Debbie Bland who set the new VW65-60 age category record this week with her 200th parkrun. Debbie set the record of 84.56% with her time of 24.43. She also had the highest age grade of the day!

We had a few other milestones this week, with Sam Foster, Chris Tatham and Molly Savill completing 150 parkruns, Su Slinkar, Rachel Waters, Christine Harris, Sara Mondon and Sarah Clarkson earning their 100 tee-shirts and Matt Livesey, Emma Long and Faye Stringer running their 50ths. Ripley Barclay and Jaeden Mistry earned their junior 10 tee-shirts.

This week 492 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 99 were first timers and 48 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 45 different clubs took part.

The female record is held by Lizzie BROWNE who recorded a time of 16:25 on 23rd July 2011 (event number 196).
The male record is held by Dan GARBUTT who recorded a time of 14:58 on 25th February 2012 (event number 229).
The Age Grade course record is held by Treena JOHNSON who recorded 96.49% (18:31) on 12th August 2017 (event number 521).
