Visitors from t’other side of t’Pennines. Run report 632, 14 Sept 2019

It was lovely to welcome back the Winston Runners this week, who came from the other side of the Pennines to run with us. The weather was a lot warmer than when they were last with us and they were running on thick frost!

Well done to Debbie Brown, one of our run director team, who ran her 200th and to Emma Harrop who ran her 100th. Karly Stringer and Amanda Searle ran their 50ths.

Don't forget the Red Welly Relay after our parkrun on 28 September. Captains Naomi and Toby nearly have the 25 runners they need, but not quite. Sign up by 21 September to be sure of a place.

This week 495 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 56 were first timers and 82 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 37 different clubs took part.

The event was made possible by 29 volunteers:

Frank JONES • Claudia BAUER • Helen NOYES • Martin BARE • Anne AKERS • Noel AKERS • Jayne GLENNON • Andy BEST • Rolf NEUGEBAUER • Lorraine BEAVIS • Daniel LENG • Jim ROWLAND • Louise BISSET • Sue LUMBY • Philip DAVIES • Nick BROWN • Naomi ADKINS • Tobias ADKINS • Natalie DONOHUE • Rebecca HUGHES • Catherine WALLIS • Zeni BELLWOOD • Sarah MEYER • Tim STRATTON • Katherine KIRKHAM • Anya KIRKHAM-MATTHEWS • Issy MEYER • Giulia GADA • Don LENG
