Record-breaking birthday bash! Run report, 5 October 2019

 

It was a happy 15th birthday to parkrun UK and a happy 12th birthday to us this weekend. Thank you to everyone who joined us and an extra big thanks to Leeds University to treating us all to breakfast.

We had a record-breaker this week too with Bingley Harriers' Fred Gibbs breaking his own VM80-84 age category record with 80.06% for his time of 26.55, see you again soon for another record-breaker, Fred!

Well done to Tina Edwards ran her 150th and Vicky Johnson and John Dammone earned their 100 tee-shirt. Emma Harris, Amy Clayton, Oliver Clarkin and Mick Welboune ran their 50ths.

The male record is held by Dan GARBUTT who recorded a time of 14:58 on 25th February 2012 (event number 229).
The Age Grade course record is held by Treena JOHNSON who recorded 96.49% (18:31) on 12th August 2017 (event number 521).

Woodhouse Moor parkrun started on 6th October 2007. Since then 24,891 participants have completed 196,972 parkruns covering a total distance of 984,860 km, including 32,944 new Personal Bests. A total of 1,961 individuals have volunteered 11,647 times.
