Keeping pace, run report 639, 2 Nov 2019

Some of you got shiny new PBs this week thanks to our volunteer pacers. The first Saturday of the month is always Pacer parkrun, you can either volunteer to wear one of our classy caps (washed after use!), or let us know what time you're aiming for and we'll try to find you a pacer.

Well done to Melissa Stead who completed her 200th parkrun as our final finisher, she was our volunteer tailwalker along with nine-year-old daughter Lola. Ken Patterson also ran his 200th. Isabel Harris ran her 150th. Helen Noyes, one of our regular running first aiders, joined the 100 Club. If you're a qualified first aider and can run with one of our first aid bags, let us know, we'd love to have you on the team, and of course you will get a volunteer credit.

Thank you to the Wrangthorn Runners for offering coffee and cake over at the church this week, another first Saturday of the month feature.

This week 392 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 48 were first timers and 61 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 46 different clubs took part.
