parkrun is poetry! Run report 655, 8 February 2020

What better way to celebrate running your 50th parkrun than with a poem, or two, or three? How about 50?  Tahera Mayat is not only our regular welcome briefer, she's also a poet and to mark her 50th parkrun, she wrote 50 haikus and stuck them on tubes of Love Hearts, handing them out at the cafe afterwards. Thanks, Tahera! There's still a few left if anyone wants a poem with their parkrun on Saturday.

Well done to David Williamson, who joined the 250 Club, Isabel Ralph, Alastair White and Alison Oldfield who ran their 100ths and Sarah Radcliffe and Tahera who ran their 50ths.

Thank you all for your co-operation with to make our start funnel a little less chaotic. We're asking people to join from the back as we were getting a bit squashed at the front. And thank you all for making our new double funnel work well. If you are handed a spatula, it means you are the end of that particular line, and marks the changeover to the other funnel.
