parkrun #41 8th December

A beautiful sunrise greeted us this morning at Worksop College junior parkrun number 41 along with 19 runners .

We had two first timers Krystal and Harvey who brought there Dad (David) who volunteered for the first time!

what a great way for the family to spend  Sunday morning and we look forward to seeing them all again next week

Without volunteers we cannot put on parkrun and it is so rewarding, if like David your children are running why not volunteer as well?

There is tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches available to purchase after your run inside Worksop College.

A massive thank you to all our volunteers who again helped to keep the event running safely.

Worksop College junior parkrun

Run #40

21 runners, 20 volunteers, 2km, 2 First Timers,  a 13th birthday and a half marathon wristband. Lots of fun was had by all and volunteers were even given cups of hot chocolate to warm up.

The course was good even after all the rain we’ve had, you just need to watch out for the rabbit holes!

If you would like to volunteer at any future events then please see the future roster

If you would like to join us to run all you need is your parkrun barcode and your running legs.

This weeks run report was brought to you by Jacob and Luke!
