Please support your local parkrun by volunteering every now and again. It's easy and fun! We meet at 8.30am and most roles can be fulfilled by 11am at the very latest! Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get on the roster. Thank you.
We have some extra special people to recognise as usual.
Firstly well done to Donna PERRY of Cleobury Mortimer Running Club who completed her 50th parkrun just before celebrating her birthday this week.
Lucy BROOKS of Bridgnorth Running Club made it to 100 parkruns this Saturday! As did I - though mine were the much easier sort - volunteering! Well done Lucy.
And we thanked Lisa BAILEY for volunteering on 50 separate occasions and said a sad farewell to Ann WEBBER who heads back home to Australia very soon (via Europe). We will miss you Ann and hope you come back and visit us in the future.
The Wyre Forest Hash House Harriers are in charge of proceedings this weekend and they have a theme - panto! You may remember that we had to cancel back in December due to heavy snowfall so we had to postpone the Hashers volunteer takeover until this weekend. But I know that we will all get in to the spirit of things regardless. Oh yes we will....!
See you on Saturday!
