Wyre Forest parkrun

There were plenty of parkrunners out today, perhaps trying to run off some of the excesses of the season. Though the course was still wet after the rain of recent weeks the day dawned fine helping us to our second highest attendance of 313 runners.
The numbers were boosted by visitors from Manchester, Swindon, Dudley, Worcester, Froome, Abingdon, Witney, London and Perth Australia.
There were a few milestones achieved this week, congratulations to all:
- 50 parkruns - Charity STRANGE
- 100 parkruns - Steph GOODE and Darren NEAL
I believe there could have been another but for a forgotten barcode- Don't forget your barcode.
The run this weekend finished off the year nicely and we wish you all a happy New Year with plenty of parkrunning to come.

This week 313 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 51 were first timers and 26 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 29 different clubs took part.

The female record is held by Chloe RICHARDSON who recorded a time of 17:36 on 30th March 2019 (event number 185).
The male record is held by William RICHARDSON who recorded a time of 15:18 on 12th October 2019 (event number 213).
The Age Grade course record is held by William RICHARDSON who recorded 84.64% (15:18) on 12th October 2019 (event number 213).
Wyre Forest parkrun started on 29th August 2015. Since then 7,078 participants have completed 42,227 parkruns covering a total distance of 211,135 km, including 7,837 new Personal Bests. A total of 648 individuals have volunteered 5,466 times.

Why not have a chat with your fellow parkrunners or volunteers?Otherwise, parking charges are £3 for up to 2 hours, £4 2-4 hours and £5 all day on Saturdays.||Are you a frequent parkrunner, or does your barcode regularly fail to scan or you're having problems with your printer? You should consider getting some ERS Barcodes.
