Many of those first timers were from local Community Housing Group (TCHG) and have only recently completed a Couch to 5k Course under the fabulous leadership of parkrun regulars Lisa BAILEY and Nigel FAIN. Lisa and Nigel have obviously coached them well as they all finished the run looking very fresh with huge smiles! As well they should!

And well done to Peter CORNISH who also completed his 50th parkrun with us and to Peter COOMBS who ran his 100th!! Both these guys kept quiet so I'm sorry they didn't get an official shout-out. Don't be shy - be proud of your achievements and let us give you the applause you deserve!

We also wished David MORE a Happy 60th Birthday! David was joined by wife Annette and son Stephen and other friends to celebrate his special day and we are glad to see he took the opportunity to dress up and eat cake - two proper parkrun traditions! Hope you had a great day David.

I think we are all in agreement that the best site of the day was Matt JACKSON in his fabulous Dinosaur costume! I'm still smiling about it now! What a fantastic effort Matt - thanks so much for sharing it with us!

And club mate Penelope Jane BARBER visited us for the fisrt time this week but left with the ACR for VW55-59 after finishing first lady in a time of 22:39.
